Bhajan or mantra singing are powerful techniques to cleanse your body and soul. For that you need to have a nice atmosphere with candle lights and acoustically good room where everyone can enjoy.

Then if you have collected 4 to 8 lines Mantra in a repetitive pattern, you can copy the song or Bhajan and give it to all your friends to sing. One session Music can have lots of highs and lows with repetitive and dynamic parts.
This session can be from One hour to one and half hour accordingly and after that can be a meditation session of about 20 minutes. And in between too you can have 3-5 minutes of silent meditative sessions.
This is a very effective way to sing and immerse into Bhajan and meditation. In fact, if we want to make it very intense the first session can be combined with dancing and vigorous movement to get rid of excess energy from your body and the later and final section can me made really calm and more meditative.
I had joined one Mantra singing group yesterday and had felt nice in this session. Sometimes people make long and complicated songs for Bhajan or mantra singing. This is unnecessary because it causes a lot of distraction and un-peace.
Hence, short and easy to learn songs and melody are the key nature of Mantra singing and Repetitive songs with lots of high and low can really purify your body and soul. You might ask what you should be thinking at this moment. When you sing Bhajan/Mantra the whole energy of the body should be considered into singing mantra or Bhajan.
Hope you can find many Bhajan and mantra in internet and make your own Bhajan to sing. And have fun every week.
My Best regards
P.S Bhajan: Are repetitive lines song for God like Gospel in Christianity.
