Meditation; How to make it effective.

The reason why its hard to not do anything because the world is full of deeds. Our sense is open towards doing and action. The art of not doing anything sounds simple but our million years of evolution has programmed us quite oppositely. Hence the art of not doing anything is among one of the most important things and specially helpful for the mediators.
What are the advantages of such skill and meditation? The advantage of being silent is that you could be much more focused and productive on the things that you later on try to accomplish. The same silence where no noise would be present would be your playing ground and on top of that silence you can really concentrate and focus your energy to something better in your life. Hence as a modern man if you are able to meditate its just a plus on top of what you do in your daily life hence is useful in many ways.

Regular habit of meditation I have always missed the regular habit of meditation too. In this way i have built my ego at times and then i go back to meditation back and forth. Hence making a regular habit to meditate is a huge plus so as to get a bigger leap in your inner consciousness. As per my suggestion the moment you fall asleep and the moment you wake are the biggest moment of your transition of your consciousness. Hence these days i have tried to make a habit of meditating before your sleep. And just after i wake up i try to meditate a bit so as to silent the brain. For me it had helped immensely.
Techniques of Meditation: For me, I have developed my own technique of meditation. As some great masters said that Meditation techniques are the ways just to tire the disciples. The main meditation comes after that act. Because we have trapped a lots of energy in the whole life and whole being. Hence any kind of physical exercise or anything would be very useful before you start your mental meditation. For me i use the method called “Kapalbhati” rapidly thrusting your stomach and your diaphragm so as to exhale the gust of wind from your mouth. You can google the technique in you tube for better detail. I also squeeze the point near the “mooladhar chakra” and try to focus between the eyes to remain blank.
How to know if your meditation is working? If you are in a very calm state and you don’t have any brain babbles in your brain. And if you feel very light and your heart filled love and it just feels magical if you meditated for a moment of time. And you don’t feel the perception of time then things are working fine for you.
What if you don’t feel those feeling? That means there is a lot to be cleared. As we know our brain have evolved from millions of years and this wont be a one day task so as to clear your inner being hence self analysis and purifying your inner being with deep devotion and prayers are the only way you can achieve this goal. If you have too high of your self esteem and ego. And if you regard yourself as a very important portion of the world then it would be much harder for you to submit in front of the silence/God.

Is there God? There is no God, the same experience of silence without your presence is the godly experience. Hence there wont be any god in a physical form at the end. Hence asking some wishes are the ways to not finding God/Silence. Prayer is one of the most important thing to kill your exploding ego.
What are the ways of finding the Silence/God? The ways of finding God/Silence is either with Prayers or with Meditation. Its said meditation for a masculine type and prayers for a feminine type.
Artists, dancers, painter or scientist who can forget everything and devote time for some thing are more closer to find this experience of nothingness because meditation and these acts are very similar. For example if you practice Music or paint deeply those are the moments where you touch these peaks and the experience of meditation would be similar.
Difference between reading about meditation and doing meditation? Reading or watching about meditation is nothing similar to doing meditation. Everything what you do beside meditation involves brain. And meditation is the process of shutting down the brain to reach higher consciousness or silence. Hence i strongly emphasize on the act of mental meditation than reading or something connected with it.
Difference between concentration and Meditation? The whole west is confused by the simple act concentration and they regard that as meditation. Simple answer is concentration involves the brain and is more used for subconscious affirmation techniques. Hence Meditation cant be compared with this act. Meditation is simply beyond brain.
Am not an expert in meditation nor a superficial yogi but i surely am in the path of meditation and greater silence. And these points i have gathered in a decade long pursuit of my self purification. Hope these points would surely improve your life and give you better idea and results in your path towards Silence/GOD.
