“Terraforming Kathmandu”

Terraforming Kathmandu, Could be one of the most interesting term that people can imagine. First we need to know what is terraforming. Right now People in the west are really interested to terraform the planet Mars. In other words terraforming is to transform a planet so that it is ready for human civilization to flourish. Or to make a planet ready for Human beings by maintaining the correct temperature pressure and other things that human beings and other plant and animals need to form a balanced ecosystem. To terraform a big planet like mars there has been multiple ideas like exploding nuclear bombs in the icecaps of mars or beaming big mirrors from satellite so as to increase the temperature of the planet.
So what has this thing to do with out Kathmandu Terraforming. Since decade we have made a beautiful kathmandu valley a miserable place to live hence so as to make it natural and beautiful we need to use similar techniques which is used in terraforming a planet.
We need to reduce our waste and give it a proper method where we can recycle the waste so as to reduce the footprint.
We need to reduce the temperature of the valley by planting more trees and making it more habitable.
We need to reduce the carbon footprint by introducing Battery powered vehicles and other electric or renewable sources.
We need to organise the current population and the land in a way it helps to synchronize with nature and gives some beautiful aura.
We just need to pave all the roads and places where dust pollution gets started because our Air used to be a pure and clean air which has to be recycled and needs to be cleaned again.
The beautiful rivers and other should be revitalized so that non of the junk trash is fed into these kind of holy and beautiful rivers.
Our goal should be to make Kathmandu as in “Nepal Bandha Day” it sounds negative but two of the most nature friendly things that happen in Nepal bandha day are sound level decreases significantly and the pollution of the air drops exponentially.
Out Goal should be to see the Himalaya range in any day from Kathmandu.
And only then it would be a beautiful Kathmandu where people and tourist would be attracted to live and enjoy nature. Right now we are doing such a bad advertisement. I talk to so many foreigners and everyone says kathmandu is so terrible and the country which is supposed to be the nature heaven has no match with this kind of madness. we simply need to learn to live with nature. Its true these new things were introduced without any plans that’s why its creating so much of problems but we know what is the problem.
Balanced living we cant pollute the nature and only we can get the beautiful blessing from nature. Hence terraforming mars would take may be 100’s of years due to its scale but we can really transform Kathmandu in such a short time if we try to bring the beauty back to our mother nature. I feel very sad looking at Europe where there is nothing the winter is cold as mount Everest and still they planted trees and parks and made it so beautiful and we got the heaven on earth in Next 10 years we would turn into a dessert if we go in this trend.
