Western Values verses Eastern Values.

When I moved to West one of the most interesting thing that I saw was individuality. If you ask the difference between the Society in the east and the West the answer is very simple in the east they value group or a family and in the West they value an individual and the uniqueness.
Till this date I was really impressed due to this difference in the society which allows any individual to do what so ever they like to do in their life. Had already seen the value of a family in the east. That’s why something that was knew was uniqueness and individuality and I absolutely loved this way of living.
The individuality really performs great and is able to create great unique persons and artists. The reason west is better for an artist/Scientist is because of the fact they can harness and find their unique path towards their individual goals. Where as living in the east people can never even know what they are and who they are because of the multilayered society and intricate family bonding.
That might be one of the reason that in the east we have produced so less scientist. This is a very controversial topics hence lets not go too deep inside why east has lesser scientist developed in the modernization of human being where as has more contributed towards spiritual path of inner consciousness.
At one point of my life i did thought individuality is the real truth and that should be taken as a role model to be perused in the east as well. But after living few years in the western society i found many crazy persons. One of the most crazy person who lives next to my house is a woman who has a camera obsession. She needs to take picture of road or i don’t know what but immediately when she is out of the house she takes 4 picture in every direction. She does not do this one day or two day but every day. I saw her sometimes in the street walking and she is always taking or documenting every direction. This is not a problem but the problem begins when she starts shouting out from the window and cursing different people who walk in front of her window of the street.
I have never seen such personality in Asia and that is so new and awkward to me because this never happens over there because the fact of social pressure you are absorbed back to the society all the time. And this is not the only case that you can find. That is just one example of a typical crazy person developed by the western norms.
The same energy which creates beautiful artist in the west are the reason that creates crazy weirdo in the west who are sometimes spotted in the news with psychedelically blind gun shootings. Because they are suppressed from the society for a long time in other words detached and these are the individuals who commit such kind of rampage.
This you can never imagine in the east i used to be really amazed by these news when we heard this in TV or radio. It was so unheard and peculiar for a person in east to absorb the fact that a person in a society going in a mad killing rampage. After living few years in the west i came to the realization and the root cause which is seclusion and lonely living for many years. That’s why they have no respect for the society nether the family nor anything.
Hence one of the important conclusion i would like to come is that we need to send these Artistic individuals to the west so that they can find themselves and their artistic roots in parallel send those secluded and lonely individuals who are fighting with themselves to the east to learn some eastern values, meditation and some eastern way of thinking. In that way they can learn to value a group more than themselves.
So in conclusion i don’t see any superior values both eastern and western way of living fails in some places and excels in some places. A balanced way of mutual exchange and way of life might be the best way of living, taking the positive side of both society and integrating it inside. A multi cultured society is the society of future to create perfect balance.
